To maintain consistently high performance, the team requires an individual with a proven balance of analytical, creative, interpersonal and business skills. •To analyse and recommend improvements to business processes and systems through the application of modelling, statistical and OR techniques
Key Tasks:
• Identify, define and agree with assigned areas of the business their key performance monitors
• Work with senior business managers, including Board Directors, to put in place metrics to measure and track these monitors on an ongoing basis
• Research, identify and project manage the introduction of new business processes
• Identify and manage improvements on current business processes and systems
• Put together strategies for process improvement. Test alternative hypotheses through the application of OR and statistical techniques. Recommend practical initiatives to relevant areas of the business
• Train customers in the use of devised business monitors and control systems
• Manage and report on own assigned projects and tasks to the line manager
• Keep up to date with external developments in OR and other relevant specialist disciplines
